Geo blocking

Geo blocking in Flowplayer OVP allows or blocks access to your videos and livestreams based on the geographical location of the viewer.

Please follow the geoblock documentation to blacklist or whitelist the countries you want to disallow / allow.

Geo blocking with the Platform API

Geo blocking for individual videos and livestreams can also be set with the Platform API through the geoblocking object when creating or updating them (POST/PUT /v3/videos and /v3/livestreams):

• type: ALLOW or DENY the countries in locations, NONE to remove geo blocking for this asset even if the workspace has geo blocking, or FOLLOW_WORKSPACE (default) to use the workspace setting.
• locations: a list of countries as lowercase ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes, for example ["se", "no"].
